Otago University and Natural History New Zealand have combined efforts to form the Post-Graduate Diploma in Natural History Filmmaking and Communication course, where students are given a $1500 budget, and less than 9 months to create a 24 minute documentary. And here is ours....

About the film :
To understand where you live, is to understand if you belong. An introduced predator is forced to come to terms with the way of life in a New Zealand Southern Beech Forest, where the ecology dictates the sustainability.

Louise's Biography
Louise has grown up traveling the world but calls NZ home. Having studied Ecology, Design Studies and Film & Media at Otago University, Louise constantly strives to show the world to others through fresh eyes, with help from an understanding of the power of Film.

Sarah's Biography
Sarah studied Zoology in University College Dublin, Ireland. After spending
a month in Kenya, she had been bitten by the travel bug. She moved to New Zealand to
attend the University of Otago, where she realised she wanted to spend the rest of her life traveling the world with a camera in her hand.
