Otago University and Natural History New Zealand have combined efforts to form the Post-Graduate Diploma in Natural History Filmmaking and Communication course, where students are given a $1500 budget, and less than 9 months to create a 24 minute documentary. And here is ours....

DVD includes:
a gallery of the film-making process, directors' commentaries, a trailer, a recycled-card, hand-made cover (save the trees), music video, our love and a shocked, yet flattered, expression of gratitude...

About the film :
To understand where you live, is to understand if you belong. An introduced predator is forced to come to terms with the way of life in a New Zealand Southern Beech Forest, where the ecology dictates the sustainability.
Sarah and Lu formed a partnership in Otago Uni’s NHFC course, and now wish to share a story through their film, “A Moment of Clarity…”

Sarah's Biography
Sarah studied Zoology in University College Dublin, Ireland. After spending a month in Kenya, she had been bitten by the travel bug. She moved to New Zealand to attend the University of Otago, where she realised she wanted to spend the rest of her life traveling the world with a camera in her hand.
